Help ... please! Moving is
always so stressful ...
We have no idea where to start or how to deal
with all our "stuff." We're moving to a
new home, and our move date is approaching fast.
How can my family and I simplify this project and
organize all our possessions that we're sorting
and packing?

Dear "Relocating
Rita,"
Here are just a few quick tips that will save you
a lots of time and money ...
1. The average full wardrobe carton weighs 75
pounds. If you've been keeping clothes that no
longer fit or you don't wear for other reasons,
donate them to your favorite charity.
2. Have you kept toys, games, golf clubs, tennis
rackets or other sports or hobby equipment that
you no longer use? Toss broken items and donate
useable articles.
3. Your library of books and magazines can be
expensive to move. Explore mailing your favorites
rather than moving them. Schools and libraries
always appreciate contributions of these items.
4. For items that you pack yourself, use
easy-to-manage records storage
boxes (stackable,
cardboard or plastic, with handles and lid).
These are one of my most favorite organizing
"tool" -- Perma® Stor-All®
Storage Boxes, 10" x 12" x 15",
letter/legal size, white, pack of 6
available at a reasonable price.
Happy Organizing,
