I need help ... there are
piles of paperwork, books, magazines and
"stuff" everywhere in my business
office, home and home office! I have been so
overloaded with work, there hasn't been time to
do filing or any other kind of organizing. I've
procrastinated about calling a Professional
Organizer because I'm so embarrassed. What do you
suggest?

Dear "In A Muddle,"
Never fear, you don't have to get
organized alone. An experienced Professional Organizer is
highly-skilled, non-judgmental and we specialize in
paperwork, space and time management. Also, for
everything you still need (or want) to keep, we'll help
you give it a "home."
Don't be embarrassed ... we've seen lots of similar (and
worse) situations over the years. And, please don't
"clean up" before we arrive ... it's important
for us to see exactly what
you're dealing with. Together, we'll review your current
systems and procedures, do a needs-assessment, then
determine your goals and priorities. Be sure to tell us
what you'd like to change and what you want it to
"look like" when it's completed. There will
also be time to physically organize part of your project.
You don't need to prepare for our first meeting, except
to gather (or buy) the recommended office supplies. See Checklist for Basic Supplies. If you'll feel more in control, put
similar items together, such as paid bills, newspapers,
magazines and supplies. Don't forget ... "organizing
is a process, it's not a one day project."
If you're feeling overwhelmed or confused right now,
don't worry. An expert will physically help you get
organized and be your Personal Coach. Even during the
first appointment, you will have fun (really!!), learn
how to stay organized and feel empowered!!
So ... take a deep breath, relax and call us in the
morning!
Happy Organizing,
Donna
