The Personal Assets Inventory Workbook© was originally developed in 1993 following a major disaster in the West Los Angeles area. The author and Professional Organizer, Donna D. McMillan, was a former licensed insurance agent. She saw a huge need to aid and protect her clients and other protential victims everywhere.

These helpful inventory products received national aclaim when both were featured in the "Kiplinger's Retirement Report," February 1996 issue.  This article, "Why You Need a Home Inventory," describes the reasons for and methods to be more prepared before an emergency or disaster.
