RECYCLING
CLEARS OUT CLUTTER
What is clutter, really? Clutter is a confusing, messy,
unsystematic assortment of unrelated objects that reduce effectiveness
and delay action. Clutter is expensive, wasting your valuable time, space and money
(buying duplicate supplies). A clutter-filled office or home
could
give visitors a bad first impression of your business or you.
Is your desk
covered with clutter? Are
your file cabinets cluttered with old, outdated
documents? Is your office cluttered with various neglected
boxes and personal items? Are you ready to change this situation and
get organized?
November 15, 2006, was proclaimed America Recycles Day by the
President in a recent press release. It is
the responsibility of every American to practice recycling on a
regular basis. As stated in americarecyclesday.org,
"almost everything can be recycled except the planet." This is to draw attention to
a national campaign to raise awareness about the benefits of recycling
and buying products made with recycled materials.
Recycle documents containing your account numbers and personal
information by using a cross-cut or confetti-cut shredder and protect your identity too.

Information" click

SOLVING THE
PUZZLE
During your
organizing process, sort like-items together in separate labeled
boxes. Then, go through each box and decide which items to keep,
donate, recycle and toss. In your own area, find recycling pick-up
services and drop-off recycling centers.
A highly popular service is 1-800-GOT-JUNK? click
here and you've probably seen their blue and white trucks around
town. Since 1989, they "take away almost anything – from
old furniture and appliances to yard waste and renovation debris –
including many things that your local garbage company won’t
typically accept." Also, we found a great site for recycling
information, The
Internet Consumer Recycling Guide click
here.
Common items that you can recycle every day include:
- Cell phones
- Office paper
- Magazines and
catalogs
- Newspaper
- Cardboard
- Aluminum cans
- Plastic bottles
- Toner and ink jet
cartridges
- Computers &
Technology
- and much more
"Organizing is a 'process' ... it's not
a one-day project." We'll teach you how to become and
stay organized.

"Aloha" is more than
a word of greeting or farewell or a salutation.
"Aloha" means mutual regard and affection and
extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return.
"Aloha" is the essence of relationships in which
each person is important to every other person for collective
existence. "Aloha" means to hear what is not said,
to see what cannot be seen and to know the unknowable.
